Lockers ロッカー

Literally, lockers.
It's actually modeled after the small plastic/metal flute lockers in the band room (they're small, about only a foot tall and as third as wide). I wanted to paint something flat, plain, geometrically orderly, realistic yet naturally abstract. (Am I making any sense?)

平たく、シンプルで、ジオメトリックにリズムがあり、リアルだけとアブストラクトな物を描いてみたくて。。。（意味が分からない）

Choya Plum Wine Bottle 蝶矢梅酒ボトル

Empty plum wine bottle made in Japan. The three things inside the bottle are wine-drenched plum.
Glass is fun to paint. Though since it wasn't really planned out, the bottle is crooked.

テンペラの練習に、教室のその辺りにあった物を描いた。ペインティングナイフ。ブラシ。先生の机にあったミント。セラミッククラスで誰かの作ったコップ。

Violinist's Corner バイオリニストのコーナー

あちこちにあったバイオリン関係の物をあつめて並べてみました。テーブルには練習記録帳、チューナー、音叉、予備の弦、ロージン、壊れたチンレストの足、そして名前を忘れた弦をおさえるモノ。床にはカノンやバッハのコンチェルトの楽譜、使えるチンレストと鉛筆があります。テーブルクロスは本当はチェックなんだけど、めんどくさくなってしまいました．．．

I collected violin-related things and laid them out. On the table is a tuner, extra strings, rosin, a broken chinrest leg, a tuning fork and something that holds the strings, I think. The tablecloth was really checkered, but I got lazy...

バイオリンを弾く少年 A Boy Playing a Violin

A quick watercolor painting of my brother. I was working on a similar acrylic painting, and I wanted to take a break from that. I love being able to use the paper white when using watercolors...
