My brothers, second cousins, and other male relatives of close age, at my grandparent's house in Japan, lounging at night.

弟。テーブルに顔をくっつけている。
使った絵の具はなんと　赤　黄　群青　黒　白　金　のみ。なぜ？絵の具をきらしていたから。。。

My brother, with his chin on the edge of the table.
The only paint I used, miraculously, is red, yellow, cobalt blue, black, white and gold. Why? Because I was out of most other paints...

Self Portrait X 自画像X

Acrylic self portrait. I've now lost count of how many self portraits I've done... Because the subject is so readily available it's one thing I paint when I don't know what to paint.
It's from the same picture I use for my profile... my profile pic (I took it myself, with a mirror) I've altered a bit to look duotone.

自画像。数えてないので、いくつ目なのかわからない。すぐ描ける物なので、何を描いていいか分からないときに書く、自画像。プロフィールにこれを描くのに使ったのと同じ写真（鏡に映して自分で撮った）を載せている。そっちは二色に加工した。

闇 Darkness

I found some things I drew/painted more than a year ago, and realized I haven't put them on the site.... (I have a lot of stuff like that) So here's one of them.
The project for a painting class at school: self-portrait showing the entire body. My art teacher photographed me, and I made up the surroundings except the white backdrop. That's a sheet hanging from a portable white board to hide the messy classroom.
Time: I don't know. A few day's worth of class.

一年近く前に描いたものがいくつか出てきた。そういえばサイトに載せていない。。。（そういった絵は多し）とりあえず一つ紹介します。
学校のペインティングクラスで描きました、「全身を写す自画像」。撮影してくれたのは絵の先生で、撮影場所は教室。シーツを引っ掛けたバックドロップは本当にあったもので、あとの暗いバックは適当に教室の壁や他生徒のかわりに描いた、造り物。

わりといい額を安く変えたのでいれた、自画像。ガラスは無い方がいいかな。
I got a good frame for a good price, so I keep the self portrait in this frame. I think it'd be better without glass.
