This is a sketch of a piece of the hallway of my school. I drew it really quickly while I was wandering the empty school building waiting for my ride after marching band rehersal. The straight lines are very crooked.

From Books 本より

I don't use "How To Draw" books because I don't like copying other people's drawings, but my art teacher recommended the ones out of several books so I drew them. I know I'm supposed to credit them, but I forgot the authors and titles of the books. I THINK the hand one is from "Drawing Dynamic Hands" or something like that, and the woman is "Drawing Creases and Folds"... or maybe it was "Drawing Clothing"... I don't remember.

Jugoya 十五夜

This is the first 100% acrylic painting I have ever done, drawing from memory. I was inspired of the beautiful sky I saw one full moon in September.

Apples and Pears 林檎と梨

Autumn is the season which fruits are at the best, so I drew some. The cloth is kind of sketchy, but I loved drawing the pears.

In the Bus バスの中で

I sketched these on the bus while I was with my school's marching band traveling to the next stadium. The very top one is a drawing of two friends of mine sitting across from me; the girl in the back is playing with her Nintendo DS and the gril in front is listening to her ipod. The DS girl's face in unclear because her hair was all over the place; the windows are open. Below that is a trumpet player asleep by his luggage, and the largest picture is a view down the aisles. Everyone has thier uniform half-on because it was so hot.

マーチングバンドで次のスタジアムに行く途中、スクールバスの中で描いたものです。一番上の絵は向かいに座っていた友達二人で、奥のコはDSで遊んでいて、手前のコはipodを聴いてます。DSのコは窓から流れ込んでくる風で髪がクチャグチャで、顔が分からなかった。その下は荷物に挟まれ眠りこけるトランペットを弾く男の子。一番大きい絵は、バスの通路を描いたもの。暑いので皆ユニフォームを着崩して荷物をぶちまけている。

Pot and Cup ポットとコップ

This pot and cup is ours; we were drinking tea when I thought of painting it. I'm satisfied about the pot, but I dislike the cup. It's so obviously crooked!
