All State

I MADE IOWA ALL STATE VISUAL ARTS TEAM 2009!!!!!!!!!!

First time my high school put students up for that competition in several years, we send 3 students.  All three made all state.  Including me.

I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!

Go to site of Art Educators of Iowa sometime later.... they should have me on there soon!!!  Reception in a couple of weeks.  Yaaaay

(This is my first inter-school honor of that sort!!  Because I'm not in sports or anything too competitive ... like GSAs and Volunteer organizations and Diversity groups and Art Clubs... I don't have much chances of getting things like that)

A young Indian (as in India, not Native American) boy who attends the art studio I go to. He modeled for 10min, and he was pretty good at staying still.

Sorry I haven't been uploading things for a while. I am concentrating on working on a large acrylic painting, which is the second acrylic work I've ever done. When I'm finished, I'll upload that, but please don't expect anything good. I'm still a beginner.
